I was invited by Fine Acts to create a piece of illustration for World Climate Day online exhibition.
With the looming threat of global warming and the melting of ice caps in the North Pole weighing heavily on my thoughts, I chose to depict a poignant scene: a woman struggling in the depths of the ocean. Clutching a rabbit—a symbol of hope rising above the water—she closed her eyes and was lost in her thoughts. This imagery, deeply rooted in Chinese culture, evokes themes of feminism and reunion. Will she rise from the water, empowered to take action and shape her own destiny?
